Mālama (care): caring for your table

Mālama means to care for, protect, and look after. A little care keeps both the wood and the water system beautiful:

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid harsh or ammonia cleaners.
Use trivets and coasters — epoxy can soften under heat.
Keep out of long, direct sun to limit yellowing and fading.
Top up the reservoir with distilled water and never let the pump run dry.
Clean the pump intake periodically.
